Each city serves as a self-contained entity with its own hierarchical structure. Upper levels of the cities, offer luxurious living conditions and advanced amenities to the wealthy elite. In contrast, lower levels, consist of impoverished slums where sunlight is a rare commodity. Advanced technologies like physical, genetic, and cybernetic augmentations are widespread, with individuals without them being considered outcasts or the extremely poor. This dichotomy shapes societal dynamics, influencing relationships and ambitions.
