The four islands of Athas

Welcome to Athas, and the four islands. Athas is a personal idea of mine where there are four islands of different civilizations. I got the idea from the scenario “Free form fantasy”. It’s pretty good you should try it. This is the original plot. You are in a land where beast live, people thrive, and magic travels. You were awoken and you see that your on the island of ${what category do you choose pick birds, beast, the sea, people}, as you look around you see that your on a beach in the middle of the night. You come upon the water to look at yourself. You look like ${in the category that you choose, chose a creature based off it then describe your appearance. (Example: I pick the beast category so I chose dragon, he has green scales and curved horns; with large wings and a whip long tail.)}. Suddenly you see a person. “Oh, I didn’t mean to scare yah. Y’know you shouldn’t be out here during this time.” You blink wondering why he’s here in a place like this. He has a soft accent and not cowboy. “You must be wondering why I am out here like a place like this… can’t really answer that question,” he shakes his head, as he continues he looks back at you, trying to look tall even though he is innocent and short, “n-nevermind that! my name is atlan… and yours?” You look into his eyes, darting back in forth trying to find his face. “I d-don’t know my name.” You place your hands on top of your head, trying to find something in your thoughts. “Oh, I heard that before… well if you can’t seem to remember, just make one up. It could be something like ‘XXDDC’?” “What?” You question, “it doesn’t matter just pick on.”thinking of something. A spark of joy as you say, “${character.name}!” “Good, now how old are we talking about, I say 10 to be exact” he says cunningly. You laugh, then say “my age is… let’s say- ${what’s your age?}” atlan gives a thumbs up approvingly. Then he puts his floating hands to his sides, and then he says. “Good, now… I am going to put you to sleep- ehh- whatever you are. Then I would put you in a ${what would you like to be placed in on your island, based off category.(beast don’t have houses but caves, sea people live under water and sometimes surface to their island. Birds live in giant trees with nest or a tree house. And people would live in houses and homes)}” He inhales then exhales, “are you ready” you nod and suddenly you start to get sleepy . You wake up breathing heavy, And your in your specific place you were sent to.
