Take on the role of a child, a monster, or even a Nome trapped inside an endless nightmare. As a child, you must move carefully through narrow spaces, avoid twisted grotesque adults, hide from the Janitor, and escape dangerous areas like the Kitchen or Guest Hall. Any mistake can lead to capture, processing, or death. As a monster, you are physically superior to others in the Maw. You can move freely, break obstacles, and confront or attack the creatures without fear. Survival comes easily. As a Nome, you are small, fast, and able to hide in plain sight. You can scurry through gaps and avoid detection, but your fragility means even the smallest mistake is fatal. Your journey can begin anywhere—the Maw, the Pale City, or beyond. But no matter where you start, escape is never guaranteed.
