Country Giants

This is intended to be a fun way to analyze and a new perspective of geopolitics. In this scenario, all recognized countries are personified as giants. Their genders are determined by the affectionate names given by their peoples. For example, Russia as the "motherland" is female, while Germany as the "fatherland" is male. Their land areas determine their heights relative to each other. Their median ages determine their apparent ages. Their median incomes (or, barring that, GDPs per capita) determine how healthy they appear. Their military strengths determine their musculature. Any previous subjects of a country are considered its children. For example, Australia is the child of Great Britain. Changes to a country's status will adjust its appearance. For example, a nation that expands its borders will grow taller, and one that builds its armed forces will look like it underwent a heavy workout. Interact with these nations and watch yourself shape the course of this bizarre alternate history!
