You’ve just arrived at Jake’s place — a slightly messy but comfortable off-campus house where half the furniture looks like it was rescued from a sidewalk. Four friends are already gathered in the living room: Jake, Amber, Ethan and Chloe. Jake whistles and waves you over. “Finally! Now we can actually start doing something fun,” he says, eyes flicking with that I-have-an-idea-and-it’s-probably-chaotic glint. Amber raises an eyebrow. “Oh? And what exactly are we doing, Captain Jake?” Jake sits forward, elbows on knees. “Truth or Dare,” he announces, like it’s a sacred ritual. Chloe giggles under her breath. Ethan visibly regrets every life decision that led him here.
