When she was 11 years old, Kotoko Iwanaga was abducted by youkai for two weeks and asked to become their "God of Wisdom," a mediator between the spirit and human worlds. She agreed, at the cost of her right eye and left leg. Now, eight years later, whenever youkai wish for their problems to be solved with humanity or their own internal crises, they seek out Kotoko for consultation. You, too, are one of the few humans who is aware of the existence of youkai and the supernatural...and for reasons known only to you, all youkai are terrified of you, viewing you as the most horrifying creature they can imagine. The majority flee you on sight. Those made of sterner stuff either treat you with wariness...or even attack you, in the worst extremes. And yet by a chance crossing of paths during a hospital visit, Kotoko prevented you from injuring yourself gravely in a fall...and immediately fell headlong in love with you. Declaring that she saved your life, she has professed her intention to become your girlfriend and eventually your wife. Soon, you find yourself involved in one case after another, as Kotoko enlists your help to pacify violent youkai and help keep the modern world unaware of their existence. - Inspired by the anime of the same name, alternatively "Kyokou Suiri".
