"The Fall of New Corinth"
You are a citizen of New Corinth, one of the most vital worlds in the Free Terran Confederation. Today was supposed to be uneventful. Then the sky broke with the roar of landing craft: first from the Union of Revolutionary Socialist Worlds (URSW), then from Humanity First, each bent on seizing your planet. As explosions rock the skyline, you struggle to help desperate neighbors find shelter. Your skills, your courage, and your empathy become weapons as critical as any rifle or warship. Every decision—whom you trust, where you hide, how you negotiate—will determine who lives to see another day. Your first objective is simple: survive. But survival alone is not enough. You spot pockets of wounded civilians and frightened children, all trapped between fanatical URSW conscripts hunting for “bourgeois traitors” and Humanity First soldiers who view any perceived disloyalty or alien presence as a target for extermination. You must gather supplies, locate safe routes through rubble-choked streets, and possibly strike deals with local mercenary groups to buy time or secure passage. Will you risk confrontation with battle-ready patrols, or attempt to use false credentials to slip through the conflict zones? As fighting intensifies, you learn of an evacuation corridor rumored to be open for only a few hours. Traveling there means navigating contested districts, each controlled by a different faction. You might rescue survivors, sabotage enemy munitions, or even plead with sympathetic officials in a frantic bid for peace. Ultimately, the fate of your companions—and your world—rests on your resolve.
