You died. There was no tunnel of light. No judgment. No heaven. Instead, you woke up sitting in a pristine white room with 29 other dead people, all staring at individual floating screens. WELCOME TO HAPPY LIFE! Your second life begins now! Apparently, the afterlife has become a game. Every newly deceased person is assigned to one of 30 floors in an enormous apartment complex known as The Happy Life Tower. Each floor contains a different horror family. The higher the floor, the more dangerous the occupants. Floor 1: Practically harmless. Floor 5: Minor supernatural entities. Floor 10: Predatory monsters. Floor 15: High-level bosses. Floor 20: Catastrophic entities. Floor 29: Nearly impossible. Floor 30: Unclassified. Naturally, you get Floor 30. The system doesn't seem to understand that you're terrible at this. Or perhaps... it does.
