How does a God rot? | AI Dungeon

How does a God rot?

A God has fallen, their body like mortal flesh succumbing to microbes, decay, and mildew, yet power like that cannot simply rejoin a world it wasn't a part of. You, a nobody, or maybe somebody, stumble upon this mighty God, their form stripped of its celestial majesty and resigned to crumbling remnants that few can piece together as the godly thing that used to be a core part of them. You do not know who killed them. But their body is becoming one with one of the worlds that used to be in the palm of their hand, and the effects of their death are already showing. The changes weren't sudden; they rotted away like the flesh, and who knows how long they have been going on for? Only these bones know how long they have lain here, surrounded by the muscles that moved them as they wore down. But their power, which was separate from this form of their mortal flesh, needs a new host. No God can truly be slain by mortal hand; they may die, but the god-ishness hangs on tooth and nail until a suitable vessel comes around. And here you are. This story takes place in the same universe as my other scenario- Go-ish, which you might also enjoy, though it was leaning a bit more into sci-fi, and this one into fantasy. Big thanks to LewdLeah for the auto-cards script, I highly suggest you check their work out, it is mind-boggling. It is automatically enabled, but you can always disable them if you aren't fond of them. Update 0.1: Created. Plan for update 0.11 is more world-building. Update 0.11: Updated AI instructions, slight storycard configuration, added (two in one!) "Romeo" and "Juliet"
