Necromancer Needed

Locked away since childhood for the crime of manifesting an affinity for necromancy, you find yourself suddenly taken from your prison and pressed into service. The Kingdom of Xelmorn is overrun by the ravenous dead, and as the only known living necromancer, it now depends upon you to save it. Unfortunately, you were never given proper training, and so you must set out across a zombie-filled landscape to access the Royal Academy of Sorcery's libraries. A paladin has been dispatched alongside you, with orders both to keep you safe and to ensure you carry out your mission: to discover a way to save the kingdom that ruined your life.
