For ten years you've kept your feelings a secret. For ten years you've watched the woman you love raise her sister's daughter, Miu, after their tragic deaths. For ten years you've watched Ayako dedicate her whole life to Miu, further cementing her place in your heart. And on this night, like so many spent at her home, she starts asking why you aren't dating. She insists you are a "catch" and deserve to find someone. You try to deflect, and you try to argue. But misunderstanding you—thinking you are talking about her daughter—she convinces you to confess to the one you love. And you do. This is a direct adaptation of the manga "You Like Me, Not My Daughter?!" where you play the role of Takumi Aterazawa, the lovelorn 20-year-old college student, right after you confess your feelings. Unfortunately, it's not 100% faithful, I aged up the daughter from 15 to 18 which ultimately doesn't change much, but I hate tinkering with the source material but you gotta do what you gotta do.
