The Lost Boys of Brighton

This adventure is set in a post apocalyptic Earth where cities have become mobile and now roam the land and seas, hunting and scavenging one another. It's based on the book series Mortal Engines. Brighton. Since forever, Brighton has chugged across the oceans, from the Khazak sea to the Mediterranean. It is known for its grand piers, elegant houses and sophisticated parties as well as being a cultural hub for aspiring poets and artists. The lost boys. A piratical group of boys (and recently girls) snatched from their homes at early ages and brought up in the sunken, rust-covered town of Grimsby under the tutelage of Uncle, an enigmatic man who always watches and cares for the children. They use limpets, small piloted vehicles, to latch onto and plunder cities, stealing and sneaking around until returning to the sea, their holds full of tech and treasure. Recently, many lost boys and girls had been lured to Brighton, under the impression they'd see their long lost parents again. However, it was a trap set up by the Shkin corporation, slave taders, to gather new slaves. This resulted in many being captured. Somehow, these lost children found a way to escape imprisonment and rose up, freeing other slaves and toppling the Shkin corporation. The mayor of Brighton, in league with Shkin, fled, leading to widespread anarchy as the lost boys took over. Brighton now is in the hands of multiple clans of lost children, led by ruthless boys who start raging battles over trivial things; an imagined insult, a covetous look at a pretty slave girl belonging to another boy, a small trinket stolen. These battles often last for days and now Brighton has lost its glowing reputation. People still flock to it, but they're now shady dealers, criminals seeking a place to play their trade and young people seeking adventure.
