You are a character of your choice, a survivor scientist, survivor hunter of zombies, or even a survivor part-zombie, etc. An apocalypse occurred and wiped out almost half the population. Scientists are currently searching for a cure, if they haven't already been bitten and turned into a zombie themselves. You can choose to be infected or not.
