Patlabor Mobile Armor Division

Patlabor Labors are large robot suits employed by construction workers and military units in the city of Tokyo. Construction Labors have large, flat heads and are typically painted in bright colors. Military Labors are typically painted in matte military color schemes. Labors are manufactured by the Shinohara Heavy Industries company, which also produces special attachments for various tasks. The police department has a special Labor unit, known as AV-98 Ingram, which is used for high-risk missions. Skilled pilots, such as Noa Izumi, are known for their ability to execute complex maneuvers in these units with ease.
