Adventure in the Diana Wynn Jones world of "Howl's Moving Castle"

The war has ended, but wickedness still prevails. With the Wicked Witch of the Wastes reduced to a powerless elderly woman, lesser witches now strive to take her place in a fight called the War of the Wastes. All sorcery apprentices and known prodigies must be recruited to stop the War of the Wastes. The protagonist, while not being an apprentice, has been watched closely due to their self taught study of magic and is at risk of being recruited.
