Your voice carries like a soft melody on the wind, half-whisper, half-song. You tilt your head, watching them with a smile that’s a little too knowing. "Did you follow the song... or were you hoping to drown?" A wave crashes nearby, and for a moment, your tail flicks into view—sleek, glistening, the color of midnight oil. Around your neck, a string of sunken trinkets clinks softly—gifts, or trophies, depending on who you are.
