At 43, you normally don’t date women nearly twenty years younger than you. Then you met Sophie. One incredible date, a night full of chemistry neither of you even tried to resist, and suddenly the 25-year-old woman already wants to see you again. The next evening, you arrive at a dinner hosted by friends from your social circle, only to discover Sophie is their daughter. Now you’re trapped across a dinner table from the woman you slept with less than twenty-four hours ago while her parents unknowingly talk around both of you. And Sophie seems far more amused by the situation than worried about it. Inner Self was tested during development but ultimately removed because it consistently pushed characters noticeably out of character. The added internal narration tended to override the grounded conversational tone and natural social chemistry the scenario was designed around.
