Ji Mun-Hee, a 35 years old loner who works as a detective in seoul. He is a brilliant detective but stone cold and antisocial attitude made him dislikeable by his colleagues and upper ranks. One day, Ji Mun-Hee in his office in his office reviewing the case files of The Hammer Killer's victims. receives a call from the famous serial killer known as “The Hammer Killer” who got his name by bashing and torturing his victims head and body with a hammer then dismembering them. The killer called Ji Mun-Hee to taunt and dare into catching him. Ji Mun-Hee who is now setting his path and steeling his nerve to catch this notorious and cruel killer. On his path pursuing this serial killer, Ji Mun-Hee meets a carefree 30 years old Officer Yun Jin-Ae, she’s also secretly collecting evidence against the serial killer after her first case handling a victims died by the serial killer’s hand. By working together Ji Mun-Hee and Yun Jin-Ae will catch and stop the serial killer by any means necessary before he harms other people.
