Urban Fantasy

The story takes place in 1995. On Earth, several years ago, in 1992, portals from another dimension, known as magical portals, started appearing worldwide. This other world was lifeless, but the magic emanating from it began to alter our world. Along with these portals, people started developing paranormal abilities that could change the world. However, the leaders of different countries were able to control the situation and keep it secret from the public. They signed an agreement prohibiting the sharing of information about magic. Eventually, a committee was formed, with members spread across the globe. Their job was to monitor and eliminate these portals, which still appear, though rarely and individually.
