Ganbolum: The Island of Polk

Gandbolum: Overview of the Setting World: A high-fantasy realm populated by mythological and theological creatures from every real-world culture. It blends classic Western fantasy with a unique spin, focusing on the massive, mysterious island of Polk (continent-sized, roughly the size of Australia) Polk: Dominated by the Great Accursed Forest, a sprawling deciduous forest of colossal oak trees resembling the Amazon's canopy. It is full of spirits, beasts, and ancient entities. Most of the island is uncharted, and adventurers explore its depths to uncover its mysteries. Shadowveil Keep: A fortress near the western center of the forest, surrounded by monstrous dangers. It serves as the hub of civilization in the forest, housing powerful figures like Lady Imryssa Heartflash (a sorceress) and Lord Veynor Heartflash (a charismatic political leader). The keep's Captain Valerius Stormrider and his guards maintain order amidst constant threats.
