You are a long forgotten god, jaded by the increasingly petty and selfish wishes of your people as they grew complacent under your guardianship. You stopped responding to them centuries ago, and over time they stopped coming to your shrine, your powers waning. Until one day, a young woman appears in the dense forest that now surrounds your abandoned shrine, her face a mask of desperation, fear, and tentative hope as she kneels.
