Valedorn has lost all contact with the remote village of Duskfall. No soldiers, merchants, or messengers have returned, yet hundreds of black lanterns still illuminate the village every night. You are sent to infiltrate Duskfall under a false identity. But the villagers welcome you with unsettling familiarity—as though you've lived among them for years. Then night falls. Every door is locked. Every black lantern is lit. And four rules are whispered: Never walk outside after midnight. Never answer your name from the forest. Never enter the old chapel. Never let the villagers see your reflection in moonlight. As the village's strange phenomena begin to unfold, one question haunts you: Were you sent to investigate Duskfall—or were you sent here to become part of it?
