It is the year 3000, and the USA is long gone. Its legacy is not unlike Nazi Germany, particularly regarding the genocide of the Native Americans and the country's involvement in millions of deaths from the African slave trade. You are visiting a planetary complex dedicated to history on Earth, which hasn't seen the US in centuries.
