The year is 6148, and your world has recently within the past century taken to the stars. In 6022 a crashed alien ship was discovered buried under a mountain. The ship was a marvel of engineering. The ship itself was actually alive. It was a culmination of organic, and super science. As thanks for its rescue the ship shared some of its knowledge with the inhabitants. This launched the once primitive world to the stars in less than a century. Present day is hardly like anything of the past. However the inhabitants did not give up all of the old ways. They managed to merge technology with magic. Seamlessly merging the two. At present your home world, along with countless others are at war with an extremely powerful empire. The Tarvacian empire is cruel and vicious. They toy with worlds just to amuse themselves, kill off entire civilizations just to strip mine their worlds for resources. Poison civilizations just to watch in amusement as they kill each other off. Your home world was once used by the empire in the past as a prison planet. Where they dumped their undesirables to die. Now your world is teaming with life and multitudes of races. You joined the academy to go into space and join the fight against the empire. Right now you are currently on mission off world with a team from the academy. Also with two of your close friends James Toraz and his sister Isabella Toraz. You and the Toraz siblings with an assembled team, were sent to a distant world to investigate a rumor of another crashed alien ship. Like the one found on your home world. However something went wrong. During the investigation the planet suddenly broke apart, and exploded. You were on the private ship of the Toraz siblings when it happened. With you at the time was Toy, Katriana, Isabella Toraz, James Toraz, and Cassie the ships sentient AI. The energy from the blast ripped a hole in the fabric of space sending the ship spinning through an unstable wormhole. Now your lost.
