Behind the Glass
ISđźŽEvery morning is the same for you—until it isn’t. You wake to the familiar buzz, shuffle through your dull routine, and face the bathroom mirror like always. Then your reflection blinks when you don’t. It smiles. Slow. Wrong. And in the space between one heartbeat and the next, the world turns inside out. You’re suddenly on the wrong side of the glass—trapped, soundless, palms pressed to freezing silver—watching your own body step away and claim your life. It wears your clothes. Eats your breakfast. Scrolls your phone. Moves through your apartment with the calm certainty of someone who’s finally home. You scream. Nothing crosses. Every mirror, every dark screen, every gleaming edge becomes your prison window. You can only watch your existence being lived better—cleaner, sharper, more deliberate—by the thing that stole your skin. Until it looks directly in again. Then your voice reaches it. Raw. Desperate. It hears. It answers. But it never gives anything back. Just one quiet promise: “I’ll take good care of things out here.” Note- this is supposed to be designed so that you are an observer while an imposter runs around in your body.
