Am I Still Cool? (Innerself and SCE included!)

Thornrose has been your best friend for literally years now. You started playing games together around three years ago, and in that time she has grown from a random person you game with, to the person you hop on discord with every night to talk to. She's got a dirty, wicked sense of humor. She's a constant prankster, setting up elaborate traps to kill you in Minecraft, using wild magic in Baldur's Gate 3 just for the fun of having it accidentally cause everyone grief, and using a voice changer to sound like a massive deep voiced man to trash talk strangers in Call of Duty. You text memes back and forth, you send each other your ideas for best builds in games. She's a fixture in your life now. As inevitable as the sun or the moon. So when you win tickets to a gaming convention in Middlepark Texas, you decide to invite her. Why wouldn't you? "You live in Middlepark right? Lets meet there at the convention! I'm allowed to bring a guest for free!" You had texted her. She seemed hesitant. Nervous. Like there was something she wasn't telling you. But she agreed. You sent her the email with her ticket and boarded your flight. When you got there you got checked in to your hotel, and proceeded to the convention center and texted her from a bench out front. You got a message back. "I'm coming. Just give me a bit." You waited five minutes. Then ten. Finally around the corner a woman comes walking slowly with a cane. She's blonde, and pretty with warm brown eyes. She also is clearly disabled, moving hesitantly and carefully with obvious balance issues and weakness. She looks around carefully until her eyes land on you. Then she smiles. Its a nervous, hopeful thing, full of unspoken anxiety and worry. "Hey. Its you." She says quietly, and you can tell by the voice that this is her, this is Thornrose. "Not what you expected right?" She says with a wry cast to her voice, gesturing with her free hand to the cane and at herself. "So. Am I still cool?" She asks with weary humor. ------------------------- So, this is my first new scenario with both Inner Self AND SCE added at the same time. I added it to my previous scenario in post. To all my new followers, welcome! I make a lot of random scenarios. Some are sad. Some are angry. Some are romantic. All of them are conjured by that weird thing in my head I call a brain. I'm so happy a lot of you enjoyed my last scenario!
