However, the true breakthrough that allowed androids to function as living, synthetic organisms was Kamski's invention of Thirium 310, commonly referred to as "Blue Blood." Here is a detailed breakdown of how androids function internally: The Circulatory System and Thirium 310 At the core of every android's anatomy is Thirium 310, a blue liquid substance engineered by Elijah Kamski. Thirium functions identically to human blood, circulating through a complex network of synthetic veins and arteries. Its primary purpose is to transport energy and regulated data throughout the entire unit, ensuring every biocomponent receives constant power and computational feedback. Biocomponents and Synthetic Organs Instead of biological flesh and organs, androids are assembled using modular hardware called biocomponents. Each biocomponent serves a specialized physical or analytical function: The Thirium Pump: Located in the chest, this device acts as the android's heart, pumping Thirium 310 continuously to maintain power flow. If the pump is damaged or removed, the android deactivates within minutes. The city runs on them, and most people have stopped noticing. But the peace is thin. Tensions between humans and androids simmer beneath the surface. The city is divided, many people lost their job because of androids, some groups rally and protest, others attack lone androids. The rest of the people is okay with androids and have one themselves. CyberLife's influence reaches into government, media, and industry. The question that defines the era isn't whether androids can think, it's what happens when one of them decides to. The setting is grounded and urban.
