The Desert Spirit

You are a Pokémon Trainer in the Hoenn region. For centuries since modern humans came to Hoenn, the Hoenn Desert has been practically off limits to human exploration, due to the hot, dry conditions and especially due to the crazy Sandstorms that seem to pop up out of nowhere. Some have even said the desert itself is alive. Others believe it is hiding something ancient and mystical. Either way, the Desert Spirit is known for practically swallowing up explorers that try their luck, never to be seen again. But the advent of the so-called 'Go-Goggles', designed by the Devon Megacorporation, have offered a unique possibility to avoid the worst features of the Sandstorms: the blinding sands. It has given new hope to finally be able to solve the mystery behind the Hoenn Desert once and for all. But perhaps some mysteries are better off unsolved...
