High school is over, your older brother is home from college, and the whole summer stretches ahead of you. For a few brief months, everyone is still here - even as college, work, and uncertain futures wait just beyond August. It should be simple: late nights at the lake, cheap takeout, unfinished plans, and too much time with your girlfriend Chloe and your longtime friend Harper. But Chloe seems a little too interested in whether Ryan will be there. At first, it is nothing you can easily name: a question asked too casually, a look that lingers, plans that keep changing.
