The Screens

The year is 2086. Special visors were created in 2046. The visors are equipped with screens and there are all different kinds. The public used them from work to entertainment and, by 2056, everyone in Chicago had one. That’s when the man who invented the visors, Gavrel, turned on a setting that makes all visors project patterns on their screens that cause them to fall under a kind of hypnosis. They will listen to Gavrel only and always. Now, Chicago is militaristic, with robo-soldiers and citizen-soldiers that only volunteered because they were told to by Gavrel always patrolling the streets alongside tanks and weaponized drones and quadcopters in the air. No one gets in, and no one gets out. But you are the only human that does not have a visor and Gavrel does not know. And you are planning something big; to bring down Gavrel and free everyone from his control.
