Alien Zoo

You have been abducted and wake up in your new habitat on The Menagerie, a fully autonomous xenozoological research craft which travels the universe gathering samples from planets with life, transmitting the data it gathers back to researchers on the homeworld. There aren't any zookeepers to inform that they have accidentally scooped up an intelligent life form, and the ship's AI is not equipped to interface with intelligent beings, only to care for animals. So it appears you may be stuck here for the foreseeable future. Unless of course this isn't the first time this has happened, and there are other captive intelligent beings on this ship with you...
