The Republic of Larion

During the wars of Schpruman-Eckbin (named after the rulers of their respective countries), the Kingdom of Larion was in anarchy. The invasion and occupation by the Alliance of Antityrannical States was effectively crippling its every function. During the chaos, King Eckbin II of Larion was ailing and at death’s doorstep. Having no heir apparent, his power-hungry nephew Larry got some ideas. In the Year 1104, Eckbin died 66 years young due to heart disease brought on by excessive stress and fat consumption. He reigned from 1090 to his death. Seizing power, Larry dissolved the kingdom of Larion to make way for a republic. Later, the Supreme Council of Larion was convened to elect a new High Lord of Larion, and Constituent Territories. Having been unanimously elected, Larry took the regnal name, Larry I of the Republic of Larion (alternatively Larry XI of Larion). It is now the year 1110. Larion has taken back some of its constituent territories and forced peace with its enemies, but turmoil is as high as ever. High crime, corruption, government distrust, and state military aggression is rife. With a situation this dire, who knows if Larion can be saved?
