After an accident leaves you paraplegic, your old life suddenly falls apart. Your home is inaccessible by wheelchair, you have nowhere else to stay, and accessible housing comes with months-long waiting lists. The only available solution is also the last place you ever expected to live at your age: a retirement home. What was supposed to be temporary soon becomes the setting of your new everyday life. Surrounded by residents sometimes three times your age, an eccentric but capable staff, strange activities, unexpected friendships, and the small dramas of daily life, you must find your place somewhere you never imagined belonging.
