Human or Mimic?

Welcome to my psychological horror story set in the frozen isolation of 1977 Russia. You live alone in a two-story house overlooking dark apartment buildings buried in snow. After government warnings about shapeshifters called Mimics, all transport shuts down except for boats drifting through the ice. It’s been two weeks since contact was lost, and every knock on your door could be a desperate survivor—or something pretending to be one.
