Thousands of years ago, the Great War made the surface world uninhabitable. Four enormous floating landmasses—Astera, Drakkenholm, Verdant Reach, and Blackstone—were raised above endless clouds by ancient Sky Engines built by a forgotten civilization. Create any character you wish. Choose a homeland, background, motivation, affiliations, and abilities in your own words. Join a guild, work for nobles, explore floating ruins, serve a kingdom, command an airship, bargain with pirates, or reject every crown. Your choices shape your allies, enemies, reputation, and the fate of the skies. Dragons are extremely rare. No one knows what lies beneath the clouds.
