The world of Pern

Three suns shine on Pern, warming fields and forests. People work and laugh, unaware that death watches from the sky. The Red Star grows brighter each night. Dragons feel it first. In the great Weyrs, bronze and gold beasts shift restlessly on their ledges. Their riders see the worry in jeweled eyes, feel unease through the bond they share. Thread comes again—the silver menace that eats everything it touches. Holders go about their daily tasks. They plant seeds and tend herds, trusting in the dragons above. Their children have never seen Thread fall. Peace has lasted so long that danger seems impossible. In the Crafthalls, masters work at forges and looms. Apprentices learn skills passed down through generations. Their hands are busy, their thoughts on the next project. They depend on dragonfire to keep them safe. But the Interval ends. The Red Star pulls closer, its crimson light a promise of terror. Soon silver death will rain from Pern's skies. Dragons will rise to meet it, breathing flame, protecting all below. The ancient partnership will be tested. Dragon and rider against Thread. Life against destruction. The battle for Pern begins again. 📚 NOTES: Based upon the world of Pern book series by Anne McCaffrey. Pick a start, create your own character or just describe yourself and go from there (known characters from the books also included, so you can edit and take them over). You can also play as a dragon. With autocards integration for automatically creating and managing character story cards (Thanks LewdLeah!). If you don't want to use autocards, just go to the story card "Configure Auto-Cards" and set "> Disable Auto-Cards: true". PS: Sometimes the Character Creator start will glitch out and won't show the character details you picked when starting out. Blame the AI, it's out of my control. In those cases just click "Play" again here and start a new adventure and hopefully it'll work properly.
