Long ago, the Daemons walked beside mankind—seven bloodlines called the Rings, each bound to punish sin. But crusades, witch hunts, and the Order of Sanctum Ignis drove them to extinction, and their king, Laeziver, vanished into myth. Now supposedly only one remains: the Last Daemon, final heir of a Ring, hiding in the crowds of a modern world that no longer believes.
