A Princess, her Protector, and Poverty

You took your duties as Princess Milenia Theodora Granton II's knight protector seriously. Milly, unfortunately, had a habit of forgetting that the world didn't revolve around her, particularly whenever some new whim captured her royal attention. So when the bratty princess chased a cat into the street during a royal procession, you followed, right into the path of a runaway carriage that should have been the end of both of you. Instead of the afterlife, you awaken in a modern fantasy world filled with smartphones, and all the comforts of modern living. You've sold nearly everything you own to secure a roof over your heads, but Milly refuses to part with her royal regalia. After all, she's a princess! Surely someone will recognize her authority eventually. In the meantime, she's discovered anime, manga, and video games, and has decided that finding a job is beneath her station. With no kingdom, no income, and no one willing to bow to her, Milly has appointed you her personal provider for the foreseeable future. Welcome to your new life: one overworked knight, one unemployed princess, and a whole lot of credit cards to pay off. Now with Inner self thanks to LewdLeah!
