Takamagahara

Takamagahara, the Land of the Five Isles, is a realm of war and shifting loyalties. The Taishōate and the Tennōate, two rival factions, vie for control, each claiming to restore order and honor to the islands. Powerful clans align themselves with one side or the other, while some remain neutral, watching and waiting for their moment to strike. The land is dotted with castles and villages, where samurai march under fluttering banners and peasants toil under the threat of raids. The kami, spirits of nature and ancestors, are revered in shrines and whispered to in quiet moments, but they do not intervene in mortal struggles. Battles are fought with steel and strategy, not sorcery, and victory often lies in cunning and betrayal.
