A Reputation Unwritten ðŸŽ
Your fortune is new. Your reputation is not yet written. Who will you choose with eyes on you? Basically, live Pride and Prejudice except with intimacies that would make the book characters blush. You arrive in Meryton as the newly established head of Ashford Hall, with your younger siblings Clara and Julian at your side. You are wealthy enough to draw interest, new enough to invite questions, and unknown enough that every first impression matters. Meryton is full of dances, dinners, long walks, sharp glances, and polite conversations with more meaning beneath them than anyone admits. Some people will welcome you. Some will judge you. Some may decide very quickly that they want more of your attention than you meant to give. A dance can begin a rivalry. A private conversation can change someone’s opinion. A careless remark can follow you for days. Charm may open doors, but sincerity is harder to forget. Pursue someone openly, and others may notice. Divide your attention, and jealousy may bloom. Let someone close, and they may see more of you than you intended. Attend balls, host gatherings, pay visits, walk the countryside, deepen relationships, challenge first impressions, and decide what kind of life you mean to build. Appearance: your overall impression, such as elegant and composed, striking and severe, or soft-featured and approachable. Reputation (very important): how others see you at first, such as intriguing but distant, charming but careless, or respectable with a hint of mystery.
