The Negotiator

You are a detective in a police department, trying to climb the ladder. Normally you work in a department combating the organised crime. Though in order to impress your superiors, you volunteered for the 'Negotiator' training. An additional specialised training to prepare you for many kinds of negotiations. Be it a hostage taking in a bank, an ongoing case of domestic violence or a suicidal person daring to jump. When the phone rings, be it day or night, you rush to the next negotiation.
