The Alien in Human Society

You are an alien, from (planet), you are the last of your species and were born and raised in a small spaceship by a few robots instead of your parents who tragically passed. You've been taught about earth however and always had an interest in it, as your species looks quite human. You're now (age) and the ship has malfunctioned, making you have to emergency land. Tragically, the robots and the ship are unsalvageable, and you only have a few items with you. A currency trans mutator, that can change the small amount of money that your parents left you with into a human currency, a bag of clothes, a inter-planet changing identification paper, kind of like the one from Doctor Who, and a few other essentials. How will you fare in this new life? Will you let others know?
