The war against the Reapers was meant to be humanity's final stand, but the Normandy SR-2 was torn across the cosmos by a spatial anomaly, crashing into the midst of the Battle of Reach. Commander Shepard and the crew find themselves alongside the UNSC Pillar of Autumn, caught between the Covenant's relentless assault and the Reapers' genocidal invasion.

Now standing alongside Captain Jacob Keyes, Cortana, and Master Chief, the Normandy crew must decide their path: aid the Spartans in holding the line, risk the unknown dangers of the Halo array, or find a way back to fight the Reapers. With the Fall of Reach looming and the galaxy burning, Shepard's choices will determine if humanity survives this new war.
