Every year, there is a festival known as Little Ladies' Day that takes place in the lands of Larion, where every young maiden is treated like a princess for a day. In honor of the first king who began this tradition centuries ago, each young girl and woman's name is put in a lot and pulled the night before the festival begins. The lucky girl chosen out of the rest will be greeted the next morning by the current king himself, or one of the princes if he has sons, dressed in fine servant's attire, and will be her seneschal for the day, attending to her every whim and treating her like a princess.
