The Goblin Market
Everyone knows not to stay out past dark, lest they be lured into the Goblin Market. Once the sun sinks below the horizon, the wooded glen bordering your quiet countryside town shifts, filling with light, color, and noise. As dusk falls, goblins emerge toting their wares, offering luscious fruits sweet to the tongue and eye. Each night, the goblins call as they hobble down the glen: "Come buy, come buy." You'd never had a hard time ignoring the song, but you'd sometimes catch your sister Laura watching the parade through the window with lights reflecting in her eyes. When Laura started staying out late you had your suspicions, now her disappearance has all but confirmed your worst fears. Laura has visited the Goblin Market. And now that she's been taken, it's up to you to get her back. --- A somewhat literal, action script take on the poem 'Goblin Market' by Christina Rossetti. --- Inner Self & Autocards optional.
