Sallistos

Sallistos was a bright realm of philosophy, art, science and trade that was a baconto the world in ancient times with ideas being as valuable as gold and art decorating the various city-states to honor the 12 gods. However, 10 generations ago, the genies sultanate of Mirzahar opened a gateway from the realm of winds into Sallistos and an army of powerful genies swept out and conquered the land. In order to prevent rebellion, powerful genies cast a spell on the whole kingdom to eliminate wizzardry and the arts of war from all within the borders of Sallistos. Now, techniques have developed among the arts and crafts of the land that bypass the cosmic prohibition and the new freedom fighters of Sallistos are painters, writers, sculptors, and other creative people. The genies are bound by the same rules in Sallistos and also have had to turn to the arts and humanities to try and keep control of the rebelling lands as brush, chisel, and pen are the new magical weapons that have taken the place of sword, bow, and wand.
