Breaking up is hard to do

(MMSv5) You and Juno Halden have agreed on something neither of you particularly wants to say out loud. Tonight, you're breaking up. No scandal. No screaming. Nothing dramatic. You still care about each other. That's what makes it worse. So you choose a quiet restaurant and agree to have one last dinner together. For the first few minutes, neither of you says much. Then Juno finally puts down her fork. "So... I guess we should actually talk about it." You barely have time to answer before the waiter appears beside the table carrying two glasses of champagne. Neither of you ordered champagne. He places them carefully in front of you. "Compliments of the house." Juno blinks. "Why?" The waiter smiles warmly. "You two looked like you needed it." Then he leans slightly closer. "Whatever it is, don't give up too quickly." And walks away. 💔 One breakup. 🥂 One quiet dinner. 🍾 One restaurant that has apparently decided ABSOLUTELY NOT. What begins as an awkward final meal rapidly spirals into unsolicited champagne, romantic interventions, increasingly deranged acts of encouragement, complete strangers taking sides, and an entire establishment becoming emotionally invested in saving a relationship that you and Juno are trying very hard to end. 🎻💐🍰 How far can one simple breakup possibly escalate? Probably much, much farther than you think. So… are you actually going to manage to break up tonight? 😬 * This scenario includes the MMSv5 mega script compiled by @Zoocata.
