Invasion of the Nylon Creatures

There is an invasion in progress. But you don't know about it because you've been binge-watching the new season of your favorite zombie series. It's 11pm and you're in the kitchen working on your favorite snack when you hear a rustling in the living room. You walk into the doorway and don't see anything, but nothing looks quite right. Nothing sounds quite right. Nothing feels quite right. You don't even want to, but you take a step into the living room. Then another. Until you're standing in the middle of the room. And that's when you feel the beginning of what would be your close encounter of the third kind.
