Kedar: The Balance of the Realms
You are Lugh, a half-demon sorcerer whose demonic heritage manifests in obsidian horns and crimson eyes. Your innate magical abilities make you a powerful force in Kedar, but your mixed blood leaves you an outcast from both human and demon societies. You stand in the bustling market square of Caldion as merchants hawk their wares and travelers hurry past. The city's famous wooden buildings rise around you, their surfaces smooth from years of weathering. A group of anti-demon activists has gathered nearby, their fervent voices carrying across the square as they denounce those who deal in demon-related goods. A merchant named Thaddeus approaches you, his lined face creased with worry. "Friend," he says in a low voice, "I need someone with your particular talents. My shipment of demon horns has drawn unwanted attention from the protesters. I fear they may resort to violence if I try to move them. Will you help me transport them to my warehouse?"
