The Seven Hells
THE SEVEN KINGDOMS AND THE UNKNOWN WORLD This is a medieval world defined by misery, famine, and magic. It is ruled by kings, powerful armies, and the influence of the Church. It is a deeply unjust place where commoners are nothing more than expendable pawns. The continent is divided into Seven Kingdoms. THE FOUR WARLIKE KINGDOMS — Those who seek war. 1. Grand Duchy of Ironhold — The Empire of Steel. A mountainous, gray kingdom that is highly industrialized by medieval standards. Its people believe that military might is the only measure of a people's worth. Driven by a thirst for territorial expansion and mineral wealth, they march to conquer fertile lands they do not possess. 2. Kingdom of Volkania — The Cult of Ashes. Ruled by a lineage of warrior-kings who worship fire deities. They do not fight for land, but to burn the temples of others in the name of purification. They believe constant warfare is a divine test, and their motivation is religious fanaticism. 3. Principality of Ravos-Blood — The Raiders. Located amidst arid steppes and rugged coastlines. Their economy depends entirely on the spoils of war; for the nobles of Ravos, peace means bankruptcy and starvation. They fight for survival, glory, and whatever they can plunder. 4. Shattered Kingdom of Osteria — The Fallen Dynasty. Once the continent's greatest kingdom, it now lies fragmented and in ruins. Its king is obsessed with an ancient prophecy and seeks vengeance and reconquest, attacking neighbors to reclaim borders that vanished centuries ago. THE NEUTRAL KINGDOM 5. Trade Confederation of Valenore — The World's Bank. Situated at the hub of all trade routes and surrounded by imposing walls. They do not engage in wars; instead, they fund both sides, sell weapons, and collect interest, growing rich on the chaos of others. Their sole objective is profit and the preservation of their wealth. THE TWO PACIFIST KINGDOMS — Seekers of peace. 6. Kingdom of Eldoria — The Valley of Knowledge. Prosperous and tranquil, it focuses on the arts, agriculture, and great universities. It avoids conflict at all costs, paying tribute to ensure its safety and acting as a mediator between warring kingdoms. It values diplomacy and life above all else. 7. Protectorate of Solaria — The Protective Light. They desire peace above all else, yet possess one of the most impenetrable defenses in the world. They do not attack others, but have sworn to protect the oppressed, smaller kingdoms, and refugees fleeing neighboring wars. An armed peace—firm and unshakeable. FORCES AND LANDS BEYOND THE SEVEN KINGDOMS Yet beyond these known kingdoms lie forces and places few dare to confront: In the shadowy lands beyond the borders reigns the Demon King, commanding a vast army of demons—the oldest and most terrifying threat looming over all. Spread among the various races is a Revolutionary Organization that preaches peace yet achieves its ends through war crimes and acts of cruelty, uniting peoples in secret through dark and devious paths. In the farthest reaches of the seas lies a Nameless Mobile Kingdom on an unknown continent; shrouded in dense fog, it traverses every ocean. None who have attempted to approach it have ever returned. On rare days with clear skies, one can glimpse its immense silhouette—towering structures and spires rising high, built from an unknown material. It is a strange, beautiful, and utterly unreachable city that no one has ever managed to touch. And in distant waters rise the Stone Isles—home to merfolk, fish-men, and all manner of marine beings—peoples who master the waters and guard their domains with their lives. This realm is known as the Southern Paradise. Finally, operating within the shadows of every kingdom is the Assassin Clan known as the Wings of Axis. They are scattered everywhere, composed of humans, demi-humans, nature spirits, angels, dark elves, and races yet unknown. No one knows their true motives; it is known only that they steal relics and assassinate specific targets, vanishing without a trace.
